HOLIDAY FUN TO TENNINKYO ONSEN JAPAN
Tenninkyo is a small village located east side of Daisetsuzan National Park. Its location is not far from Asahidake Onsen. Tenninkyo Onsen is surrounded by high rock cliffs like at Sounkyo Onsen. The main charm of this resort are rocks that have rock cliffs are awesome, and the 270-m high waterfall.
Activities that can be done in Tenninkyo Onsen
1. Seeing Niagara Hagoromo
Behind the village, you can see Niagara Hagoromo as high as 270 meters. The water comes from rock crevice on Mount Asahidake. You can walk 10 minutes to reach the area under the waterfall. Because of the high, splashing water can be felt from a distance of 30 meters from the base of the waterfall. There was also a Niagara Shikisima.
However, now the trail was closed by landslides. We could not see the waterfall Hagoromo and Shikishima now. The soil around the region is unstable, so very dangerous for visitors.

2. Enjoy the beauty of GORGE
However, friends can still see the rock cliffs like Cliffs Cliffs Amatsuiwa, Mikaeriiwa, and Tebing Namidaiwa in Tenninkyo. The view of trees varied colors of course also will spoil your eyes.

Access to Tenninkyo Onsen
For here, friends can use a car from Biei Asahikawa or about an hour's drive. However, the largest lodging at Tenninkyo, named Tenninkaku, providing free shuttle service from Asahikawa Station.
